March 30- April 1, 2017 – Weekend of Jazz at the Broadmoor, Colorado Springs, CO

For a 14th straight year, Grammy winning guitarist Earl Klugh will host his annual Weekend of Jazz at the Forbes Five-Star, AAA Five-Diamond Broadmoor Resort, featuring exceptional musicians and performances, unique culinary and wine experiences, and more. Artists include guitar legend and vocalist George Benson, the effervescent South African smooth jazz guitarist/vocalist Jonathan Butler, renowned saxophonists David Sanborn and Richard Elliot, singer/songwriter/pianist Kandace Springs, and more.

March 31- April 9, 2017 – Berks Jazz Music Festival, Berks, PA

The annual Berks Jazz Fest is presented by Berks Arts Council, located in Reading, PA. The mission of Berks Arts Council is to cultivate, promote, and support the arts in our community through collaboration, education, and presentation.

April 26 – May 1, 2017 – Mallorca Smooth Jazz Festival, Mallorca, Spain

​Smooth Entertainment GmbH presents the 6th Mallorca Smooth Jazz Festival at the 5-Star Protur Biomar Gran Hotel & Spa, Sa Coma.

April 11, 2017 – The King Center for Performing Arts Presents – Chris Botti, Melborne, FL

The King Center for Performing Arts presents Grammy Award winning trumpeter Chris Botti; the largest-selling American instrumental artist. Botti is a major artist, performing worldwide, selling more than three million albums. April 12-29, 2017 – Reelin’ In The Chips, Steely Dan Plays Nine Show Residency in Sin City
The Opaline Theatre at the Venetian in Las Vegas, NV

April 30, 2017 – Charm City Jazz Presents – Mike Phillips, Timonium, MD

May 12-14, 2017 – Saint Lucia Jazz Festival

A major concert at the Pigeon Island National Landmark marking a return to the original vision of a celebration of Saint Lucian, Caribbean and international jazz music with events in all parts of the country. This will be a mix of free and paying concerts and educational activities targeted at Saint Lucian and visiting musicians, all culminating on Mothers’ Day. Artists include BlueMango, Vanessa Williams, and Kenny Garrett among many others.

May 25-27, 2017 – Music City Jazz Festival, Nashville, TN (Riverfront Park)

Music City Jazz Festival is more than an outdoor concert, it’s an event! It’s a place to people-watch, eat, drink, mingle, relax soak in the rays, and of course hear some of the coolest music performed by national recording smooth jazz artists. The jazz festival will feature classy veterans who have set the standard to young lions taking the jazz scene by storm, all capturing the spirit of smooth jazz that knows no boundaries in exhilarating, intimate performances. This is an annual community celebration centered around one of America’s most enduring musical forms — the blues. This year’s talent lineup includes Justin Kalk, The Rhythm Kings, Nikki Hill, and many others.

June 2-4, 2017 – Capital Jazz Fest, Columbia, MD

Each year in early June, tens of thousands of music lovers from throughout the country flock to the suburbs of Washington, D.C. to attend this weekend of cool jazz and soul — The Capital Jazz Fest. Started in 1993, this multi-day, multi-stage outdoor music festival, which attracts music lovers from 44 states, is more than just a concert, it’s an event! It’s a place to people-watch, eat, drink, shop, mingle, relax, soak in the rays, make new friends, and, of course, hear some of the coolest jazz and soul music on the planet! July 6-9, 2017 – Lake Arbor Jazz Festival, Mitchellville, MD

Now in its 7th year and counted as one of the region’s premier jazz events, the Lake Arbor Jazz Festival features top flight contemporary and traditional jazz and R&B artists from across Washington, DC and beyond.  Aug. 2017 — August Jazz in Houston To Include The Houston International Jazz Festival (Aug, 4-6) and Other Projects

August is Jazz Month in Houston, TX. The Houston International Jazz Festival and several special projects are on the list agenda. This year’s festival is scheduled for August 4-6. Jazz & Poetry is an educational/enrichment program helping elementary school children develop and early appreciation for music and developing new audiences. The Summer Jazz Workshop produces many of America’s top young music talents through a combination of master classes, lectures, small and large ensembles, video presentations, and demonstrations. August Jazz Month Houston produces a comprehensive calendar of events that is relied upon by numerous public publications. The Houston International Jazz Festival, featuring “international”, national, regional, and local Jazz musicians, enhances Houston’s reputation as an arts center and attracts Jazz aficionados worldwide.

August 4-6, 2017 – Newport Jazz Festival, Newport, RI

The Newport Jazz Festival is considered the “First Annual American Jazz Festival. “ In 1954, the first event was held at Newport Casino, in the Bellevue Avenue Historic District of Newport, Rhode Island. It incorporated academic panel discussions and featured live musical performances outdoors, on a lawn. These performances were given by a number of notable jazz musicians, including Billie Holiday, and were emceed by Stan Kenton.[5]In 2017, the tradition continues, the festival will present a talented line up of musicians for three exciting days, including the original Bela Fleck & The Flecktones and Snarky Puppy.

Aug. 9, 2017 — Chick Corea & Bela Fleck, Longwood Gardens (Open Air Theatre), Kennett Square, PA

Grammy Award-winning artists Chick Corea and Béla Fleck team up with their bands to give us a performance unlike any other. The Chick Corea Elektric Band is known for creating its own brand of jazz fusion, while the award winning Béla Fleck and the Flecktones have always resisted categorization.

August 31 – September 3, 2017 – Warren Hill’s Cancun Jazz Festival, Cancun, Mexico

Warren Hill’s Cancun Jazz Festival is an All-Inclusive music festival that takes place at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, located approximately 45 minutes south of Cancun, Mexico, just northeast of Tulum. The festival is a 4-day event taking place August 31 thru September 3, 2017. There is also a 7-day package now available from August 28 thru September 3, 2017, which will include 3 days of excursions along with the 4 night music package.

September. 1 – 3, 2017 — 9th Annual Greater Charleston Low Country Jazz Festival, North Charleston Performing Arts Center, North Charleston, SC

Jazzing with a Purpose — Experience a great Labor Day weekend of powerful jazz in Greater Charleston, SC. The North Charleston Performing Arts Center is a 2,300 seat proscenium theater. October 12-15 & October 19-22, 2017 – JazzTrax Catalina Island Festival, Catalina Island (Avalon), CA

​Jazz host and producer Art Good brings back the 31st Annual JazzTrax Jazz Festival to Catalina Island for two weekends in October.

Artists on Weekend 1 include West Coast Jam (Richard Elliot, Rick Braun and Norman Brown), Take 6​, Paul Jackson Jr. and Jazz in Pink; Weekend 2 features Guitar Tango (Peter White and Marc Antoine), David Benoit, Greg Adams and East Bay Soul, Vincent Ingala and Lindsey Webster with more to be announced for both weekends. Traveling to Catalina by either ferry (sometimes with the artists on the same ship) or helicopter is an experience you won’t soon forget!

December ​30-31, 2017 – Rick Braun’s New Year’s Eve Getaway, Tucson, AZ
